Current Support Group Offerings

Emotional Eating Support Group

The majority of women dealing with food and eating issues struggle with binge eating and/or compulsive grazing throughout the day and evening. Obsessed with food, they frequently attend diet programs only to feel like a failure for not having control over their eating. If you fit into this category, you're certainly not alone, despite the isolation you may be feeling. We are currently forming groups for both adolescents and adults struggling with emotional eating. Please call us at 215.716.3120 to schedule an assessment.

Eating Disorder Family Support Group

Every Other Friday starting with the first Fri of the month, 6:30–8:00 PM
RSVP required by the Wednesday prior to group.

Does your family life revolve around your child's eating disorder? Do you worry about saying or doing the wrong thing at the table? Do you feel angry with your loved one for not trying hard enough to stop the eating disorder?

These are all common experiences of family members living with someone who has an eating disorder. Eating disorders have an impact on relationships both inside and outside the family home. Our support group offers participants an opportunity to gain support on a variety of issues that arise by talking to others going through the experience of living with someone with an eating disorder.

Coping with Divorce: A Support Group for Separated and Divorced Women

Coping with feelings of sadness, anger, grief and even relief can take a toll on your physical and emotional health. Not to mention the stress of becoming a single parent!
